third trimester

A normal pregnancy is divided into three stages. Each stage is called a trimester. In each trimester there are changes that occur in both a mother and her child. You will be able to read later on about these changes, but first here is a brief overview on each of the trimesters:

  • In the first trimester, the organs and systems in a fetus are formed.
  • The second trimester is when the fetus begins to grow in both size and in the development of its features.
  • The third and final trimester is a time of rapid growth and the ending of the child’s feature growth. This is the trimester in which a mother is finally able to give birth.

Each trimester has a certain time range. These are:

Þ    First Trimester: 0-13 weeks

Þ    Second Trimester: 14-28 weeks

Þ    Third Trimester: 29-42 weeks

Even though a pregnancy is a wonderful gift and a time of happiness, there are some dangers involved. In this website, you will be able to find out about the dangers in pregnancy. You will also be able to read about the tools and equipment that doctors use during a pregnancy. Finally, read about the options about getting pregnant the natural way.
